Is TheoryPrac right for you?
An honest answer, including the cases where it is not. You are about to sit a test that costs £23 to retake — you should pick your revision tool with your eyes open.
TheoryPrac is a good fit if…
- You revise on your phone, in short bursts, rather than sitting down with a book.
- You want to know why an answer was wrong, not just that it was.
- You are taking more than one test — car now, motorcycle or LGV later. One subscription covers all four categories.
- You are training as a driving instructor. ADI Part 1 material is thin everywhere, and we cover all four sections including the band scoring rule.
- You want to try the full product before paying. Several topics in every category are open with no account and no card.
Look elsewhere if…
-
You want the largest hazard perception clip library.
We have 36 clips. Some established apps have considerably more. If hazard perception is the part you are worried about, that difference is worth paying for.
-
You want to revise fully offline.
TheoryPrac works offline for cached pages, but it is a web app, not a native download. On a train with no signal, a native app will serve you better.
-
You want years of user reviews before you spend anything.
We are new and we do not have them. That is exactly why the Pass Guarantee exists — so the risk of trying something new sits with us instead of you.
-
You need the Highway Code itself.
Read it free on gov.uk. We are a revision tool built alongside it, not a replacement for it.
What we will never do
- Auto-renew a subscription you did not ask to renew.
- Show you a price and add anything to it at checkout.
- Publish a review we did not receive, or a number we cannot evidence.
- Claim to be part of, approved by, or acting for the DVSA. We are an independent company and we say so on every page.
